special activities. Louisiana Trails could become an integral part of established
events or activities associated with these diverse town and school fairs
or festivals. Examples of potential events along Louisiana Trails could
include the following: walks for charity, fun runs, mini-marathons, and
bicycle races.
Towns near the trails corridor that have established festivals, such as
the Louisiana Forest Festival in Winnfield, may wish to host events along
Louisiana Trails. The city of Natchitoches also hosts numerous events,
which in time could have events along Louisiana Trails.
